It is because of Rick Flagg who is very furious of General Lane for opening the vigilante registration act and it makes Flagg very mad on him. He is planning to kill the general and to do this, he made a trickery of leading Lucy to Clark and the lady would seduce he guy so that there will be no intervention in Rick’s planned ambush for the general.
